About Outfitter
Tobie & Charoné Hayward, along with their qualified, professional, and experienced guides, will make your South African hunting safari a memorable experience.
As a youngster, Tobie grew up on a farm, where he had the privilege to learn everything there is to know about hunting. He grew a passion for helping clients and making sure that everyone is included in having a great adventure. "For us, hunting is more than just the thrill of the chase... we create memories."
With years of experience not only hunting for ourselves but others as well, we believe that we have built and gained the skills which will make you feel quite comfortable with your surroundings.
At Tocha Hunting Safaris, we also pride ourselves in the effort we put to help youngsters get their first animal when hunting game with us, as patience is key.

About Accommodation
Tocha Hunting Safaris is located in the Karoo giving you the unique African experience where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of endless mountains. We offer quality accommodation where we strive to give you the 'Home away from home" experience. Whether you want to sleep under the stars or enjoy the comfort of your own bed, we can make that happen.
Meals are served throughout the day, where we incorporate locally sourced produce and customize it to our client's particular needs. You will even have the opportunity to try some of our venison harvested on your very own hunt to give you the true taste of the Karoo over a Braai, which South Africans are very popular for, and a variety of tasty dishes. We also stock assorted drinks, fruit juices, beers, wines, and liquors, and will be sure to have your branded drink, or close enough ready for you after a long, deserving hunt.
We offer daily laundry service to take that extra load off your shoulders, attentive and friendly camp staff, as well as luxurious sleeping arrangements.
Depending on our hunt and destination, as we make use of various destinations to give you a true taste of the Karoo, we may overnight at another hunting destination if necessary.
